EMMY CLARKE is…
an autistic, queer writer and creative from the North West of England. She is an Artist-in-Residence at ART-efact Oswestry.
As one of Contact Theatre’s 2022 Future Fires, she is the founder of Changeling Annual. She is passionate about LGBT+ and neurodivergent representation in the arts.
Emmy writes children’s fantasy and fairy tales. She made Round 2 of Write Mentor’s Children’s Novel and Picture Book Awards in 2022, and in 2023 was shortlisted for Writing Magazine’s Chapter Book Award.
She is studying a part-time BA in English Literature and Creative Writing at the Open University.
